Shake Shack provides company-paid Short-Term Disability Insurance through Lincoln Financial Group, which replaces a portion of your income to help you continue to pay your bills and meet your financial obligations if you are unable to work due to illness or disability. Team Members are enrolled in Short-Term Disability on the 90th day of employment. Coverage is shown below:

Report an Unplanned Absence

For an unplanned absence, report as soon as you’re aware that you’ll be absent for 3 consecutive days for a sickness, injury, or other leave reasons, such as caring for a family member who is seriously ill or military leave.
